Composé de photographies d'installations, d'instants capturés et de deux essais critiques, cette première monographie de l'artiste coréenne donne à voir les « territoires éphémères et silencieux » composés par l'artiste, son art « discret, portatif, fait d'effleurements » dont toute l'intensité est contenue dans ce « presque », une « discrétion, une manière de se tenir dans l'art sans appuyer ».
Publié à l'occasion de l'exposition monographique de Koo Jeong-A à la galerie Yvon Lambert en 2001.

Née en 1967 à Séoul, Koo Jeong-A vit et travaille à Paris. Utilisant des restes de petites matières (du sable, de la poudre, de la poussière, des éclats de pierre), associant des papiers froissés, un rouleau de fil ou des boîtes de médicaments, l'artiste met en place des installations précaires et provisoires qui interrogent « l'espace entre deux choses stables ».
Le travail de Koo Jeong-A a été notamment montré à l'ARC – musée d'Art moderne de la Ville de Paris, à la Galerie Yvon Lambert, Paris, à la Sécession de Vienne ou encore à la Biennale de Venise en 2003.

For posters and prints, we roll them into a sturdy cardboard tube and then pack the tube into a cardboard box. However, please note that certain products, such as books and posters, may not be able to be packed together. We offer worldwide shipping via French national post service, La Poste's Colissimo, Priority Mail, or Delivengo. The shipping fees for your order will be automatically calculated based on factors such as package weight, volume, and destination. If you prefer us to use a different carrier service such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL, please contact us prior to placing your order.

In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our bookshop in Paris. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are from 10am to 7pm from Tuesday to Saturday, from 2pm to 7pm on Sunday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
